The Insight is the student magazine for the University of Nevada, Reno. Insight Magazine aims to become a leading voice for students attending the University of Nevada, Reno. Our aim is to be informative, conversational and relatable to students. Through our photography and our stories, we hope to be long lasting and establish ourselves as the newest tradition at the university.
Students will be able to use the magazine as a talking point for university issues and be informed on community entertainment, profiles, music and more. The magazine’s goal is to also become another reference guide for students and faculty as we continue to expand online.
Finally, we are here to teach journalism and to inspire others. Students interested in writing, photography, multimedia, advertising, public relations and more can use the magazine as a stepping-stone for their careers. The magazine allows students who are interested in exploring the magazine field a way to become familiar with the process and eventually, move on to bigger and greater endeavors.

The Brushfire is official literary and arts magazine on the University of Nevada, Reno campus. Founded in 1950, the Brushfire has become the oldest literary and arts magazine in the state of Nevada. With its foundations based on the imaginative and original, the Brushfire is a fantastic forum for University students to have an outlet for their creativity. Every year the Brushfire editor seeks the entire undergraduate student population for submissions to the magazine, in order to produce the annual publication.

Wolf Pack Radio is the official undergraduate radio station for the University of Nevada, Reno. Initiated in 2001 by a group of student radio connoisseurs, Wolf Pack Radio is gaining steam on the university scene. Wolf Pack Radio hosts 30 student DJ’s show a semester from talk radio to world music.
