The Data Assessment Team (DAT) is a collaboration between ASUN and the Center for Student Engagement geared at gathering feedback from students who attend campus events. As an all-volunteer group, we are looking for people who understand the value of higher education and want to promote that to their peers and colleagues through social interactions and technology. This is not your “ordinary” group of techies… this group is being put together to make data collection cool, while at the same time improving the programs, services and events offered to our students!
Students who will be successful in this role are those who are self-driven, enthusiastic, love working with people and gadgets and have passion and commitment. This team will cover programs, services and events put on around campus and collect data from the students and faculty to help identify areas where improvements need to be made. They will serve as the “go to” for information on campus involvement and provide excellent professional development, usually only given to upper classmen.
