Clubs and Organizations Renewal Prizes from Inkblot Marketing

Clubs and organizations that fully renew their membership during the March 1st-May 15th deadline will be entered in a raffle to win a FREE design service from ASUN Inkblot Marketing! All design services must be used or in-progress by December 1, 2017. Clubs/organizations that win design services from Inkblot will be provided with a coupon to use when submitting their work order.

Inkblot Marketing serves as the primary publicity unit for ASUN. The department works to promote the programs, services, issues, opportunities and images of ASUN to the entire campus and surrounding community.

Four clubs/organizations will be drawn to choose ONE design service from those listed below*:

Club/organization logo

Club/organization recruitment flyer

Club/organization event flyer

Apparel design, up to two pieces of apparel (e.g., t-shirt, hat, sticker)

One lucky club or organization will win a grand prize marketing package** from Inkblot, including:

Posters

Handbills

Social media

ASUN TV monitor ads

Sagebrush advertisement (space permitting)

Apparel design

Deadlines

Design services provided by ASUN Inkblot Marketing will conform to standard Terms of Agreement and deadlines used by the Marketing Department. Our marketing packages operate on a standard 7, 5, and 3-week timeframe.

For the 7-week package (6-7 weeks from your event date) we offer:

All social media (mobile app, Facebook, event page), TV ads, 93 posters (11×17 size), 200 handbills, T-shirt and apparel design (if necessary), video (if necessary), photography (if necessary), Sagebrush advertisement (space permitting) and unique promotion, including banner(s).

Deadlines:
1. Assigning work order to Account Coordinator (2 days MAX)
2. Meeting with client (2-4 days MAX, if any longer we bump down package)
3. Designing a proof (5 days MAX)
4. Approving a proof (1-3 days MAX)
a. Redesign (1-3 days MAX)
5. Time of promotion (10 days MINIMUM)

For the 5-week package (4-5 weeks from your event date) we offer:
All social media (mobile app, Facebook, event page), TV ads, 93 posters (11×17 size), 200 handbills, Sagebrush advertisement (space permitting) and photography (if necessary).

Deadlines:
1. Assign work order to Account Coordinator (2 days MAX)
2. Meeting with client (2-4 days MAX, if any longer we bump down package)
3. Designing a proof (5 days MAX)
4. Approving a proof (1-3 days MAX)
a. Text changes only (1-2 days MAX)
5. Time of promotion (5 days MINIMUM)

For the 3-week package (3 weeks or less from your event date) we offer:
All social media (mobile app, Facebook, event page) and a TV ad if submitted by the client.

Deadlines:
1. Assign work order to Account Coordinator (2 days MAX)
2. Meeting with client (2 days MAX, can meet over phone — if any longer no promotion)
3. Posting Promotions (2 days MAX)
4. Time of Promotions (4 days MINIMUM)

Our Terms of Agreement include:

  • At the initial Account Coordinator meeting, the client will have all the essential details about their event finalized.
  • The client accepts that the only way to be granted event-specific promotion is by acting in accordance with Inkblot’s timeline and procedures.
  • The client understands that they are required to respond to any correspondence for their project in a timely manner (48 hours). If not, they could possibly not get the package they requested.
  • The client recognizes that Inkblot does not have the resources to deviate from the stated timeline, and cannot guarantee that a design will be completed ahead of schedule.
  • The client recognizes that they must establish a design theme with the Account Coordinator. In the interest of time and to maintain impartialness on the side of Inkblot, a general direction for design must be agreed upon.
  • The client recognizes that the ASUN logo cannot be manipulated for any reason.
  • The client accepts that Inkblot will only advertise on-campus events, not off.
  • The client accepts that Inkblot can only promote clubs whose events are Tier One funded.
  • The client accepts that Inkblot will not design logos.
  • The client understands that Inkblot makes decisions that are justified by the benefit of ASUN and Student Engagement as a whole, not to the benefit of a single department or organization.

All clients will be asked to sign a contract acknowledging their acceptance of the Terms of Agreement and package deadlines during an initial meeting with the assigned Account Coordinator.

Disclaimers

* Please note that Inkblot Marketing does not cover the cost of purchasing apparel or printing materials for any events or organizations. A final design will be provided to the club or organization so it can be forwarded to the vendor. All costs associated with printing/purchasing apparel will be provided by the club or organization.

**Services listed in the grand prize marketing package are provided at the discretion of the Director of Inkblot Marketing and are contingent upon the date of your club/organization’s event and when an Inkblot work order is submitted.
