Campus Escort is a free service provided by ASUN that provides quick and safe rides to students who live within 3 miles of campus. Campus Escort strives to maintain five core values of safety, courtesy, integrity, community, and responsibility to ensure that students are getting safe and quality service.
Campus Escort also runs a nightly shuttle Monday thru Thursday from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM that makes continuous stops at several high-traffic areas, such as major residences and central locations around campus. The nightly shuttle is a hop-on hop-off shuttle. No ride request is needed.
The nightly shuttle stops at the following places:
Campus Escort also provides two shuttles to WinCo and Walmart on the weekends for students. The shuttle drops students off at the grocery store and gives students a ride back to campus. The shuttles run in a loop for the duration of the service. To find out where the shuttle is, you can call 775-742-6808. The shuttle runs every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
On Saturdays, the shuttle runs between the on-campus Residence Halls and the shopping centers at Northtowne Lane and McCarran Boulevard. These shopping centers include several grocery stores, retail outlets, banks, and restaurants. Pick up location is from the Jot Travis Parking lot and Ponderosa Village. Drop-off is only in front of WinCo.
On Sundays the shuttle runs between the on-campus Residence Halls and the shopping centers at Mae Anne Avenue and McCarran Boulevard. These shopping centers include several grocery stores, retail outlets, banks, and restaurants as well. Pick up location is in the Jot Travis Parking lot and Ponderosa Village. Drop-off is only in front of Walmart.
Campus Escort has partnered with Parking and Transportation Services to provide students with PACKTransit Campus Shuttle Services. This service runs on two routes, the BLUEline and the SILVERline. The BLUEline services the outside perimeter of campus. It will transport students who are on the north parking area to the south-end of campus. The SILVERline will be servicing the east side of campus. It will provide express service to transport students to and from the off-campus housing in the north to Fleischmann Agriculture in the south.
Campus Escort will not travel farther than the three-mile boundary from the perimeter of the main campus. Students who wish to use this service must provide their WolfCard upon entering Campus Escort Vehicle. Riders have several ways of catching a ride. Students can call Campus Escort at (775) 742-6808. Students can also download the Nevada Campus Escort app, or students can get on one of the many stops, as it is not necessary to request a ride.
If for weather or safety reasons the service needs to be stopped, the messages on the Campus Escort online request and the Campus Escort phone will be updated accordingly.
All passengers must abide by the Student Code of Conduct.
If you have any questions you can contact Campus Escort.
